I stumbled upon this blog post, 4 people in your life that can make you more creative, which suggests talking to, and getting the point of view of, 4 different people, including:
- A person who is not on Twitter, blogging, LinkedIn, etc....
- A person who is a generation or two older than you
- Someone under the age of 13
- A teenager
"The point of these people – whomever you choose to talk with – is to find out a new perspective on something. Or, to take a step away from your everyday and check out someone else’s world."
I think an activity like this would be useful for our creativity group, too. After you have started to formulate your creative idea, think of 4 people with whom you can brainstorm turning it into innovative action. Who might those people be? How can you get the richest and broadest input?
