At TechSoup for Libraries, we interview hundreds of librarians about how they maintain public computers. We publish their experiences and ideas in free guides--called MaintainIT Cookbooks--so you can learn from the experiences of others. Everything we produce comes from libraries, and everything we publish is free. Check us out, and if we haven't yet talked to you about your library, please get in touch!

  • Read and listen to Library Spotlights to learn more about the people who contribute to the project.
  • Participate in a 30-minute Webinar where Cookbook contributors share their experiences.
  • Attend a train-the-trainer webinar for free tips and tools on incorporating Cookbooks in trainings and to share the project with your colleagues.
  • Discuss a Cookbook chapter in a Cookbook Bookclub, and learn how others used it in their libraries.
