As members begin to post their Best Readers' Advisory Resources on the Web to that forum's topic, it occured to me that some of you might like to post your RA webpage address for others to browse. If you think you have a really neat set of links or a great interface please feel free to post the link. Also if you have any advice to anyone beginning a RA website please share your expertise. I know I can use all the help I can get to start a new RA webpage at our library.

I am getting ready to do a Readers' Advisory class in the next few weeks and created a list of resources for participants. One of the things I did was visit all the web sites of Iowa Libraries looking to see if they offered readers' advisory (or adult services) at the library and if they had a page of links for readers. Plenty to look at and see what others are doing. Here's the link to the handout (it should be out on our website tomorrow). Books and articles are listed before the websites, so keep scrolling! :

I'd love to see the resources that you are going to share Michelle but when I click on your link I can't connect. I did try just the first part of the url but then couldn't figure out how to get to your RA resources. Please check and let us all know if the url you provided is correct.

We had a small glitch yesterday, but I just clicked on it from my previous post and it went to that page. If you are still having trouble, here it is as a Word attachment. Michele

Thanks Michele for sharing this excellent list of articles, webpages and books to assist all of us in our RA services. I'm going to go read a few of the articles right now even thoug I'm supposed to be doing housework (any excuse....) This will nice a great resource to use now and in the future. Do you have a favorite of the those that you list? Would you consider posting a few to the Resourses You Can't Live Without topic?
